Consent-Based SSN Verification (CBSV) provides instant validation of a SSN through the Social Security Administration. The search verifies whether a name and SSN combination are consistent and valid. It does not verify employment eligibility by interacting with the Department of Homeland Security verification system, nor does it satisfy E-Verify or I-9 requirements.
